Herbs, oils and Blood Results oh my!

Herbs, Oils and Blood Results Oh My!!

Well, hopefully you follow my blog and know what this post is all about! If not, then I ask you to please peruse the past blogs.

I shall recap some: I had been bedridden for many years. I was suffering from obese anorexia, giving myself many ailments. One of the greatest would be cirrhosis of the liver, but the list was very long:

Diabetes (Levels to 500! now at 70's for four years straight.)
Kidney disease
Cirrhosis of the liver (Not alcohol, sexual, drug, no hep related! All non eating. Now in final stages.)
Portal hypertension (Was digressing 10 points monthly to a deathly low, turned about with herbs.)
Morbid obesity
Fibromyalgia (No signs for 4 years.)
IBS (No signs for 4 years)
High Blood Pressure (No signs for 4 years)

I was bedridden and chair bound. That in itself is it's own story, saved for another day.

I took over 20 pills daily, which only gave me grave physical consequences on top of all that was already going on. The financial burden of hospital stays, medicine costs, procedures nearly broke our family. I have great insurance but just the copay alone was in the 10's of thousands of dollars, yearly.

This can get drawn out because it was many, many years of chasing symptoms, rebellion, depression, anger etc.  We tried everything, or so we though...everything but eating, herbs, oils and very importantly, water, alkaline water.

My dear sister in-laws in-love: Teresa and Linda Luccketta both introduced me to alkaline water and essential oils.

The water started to help almost immediately.

The Balancing Act
A healthy body usually has a large alkaline reserve that is used to meet the demand when too many acid-forming foods are eaten. When and if these reserves become depleted, health can be seriously compromised.
Most authorities would recommend a food plan based on 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods, to maintain balance.
Alkaline 80%Acidic 20%
We are born with a pH of 7.365.   pH is measured on a scale from 0 to 14.  Neutral, is a pH of 7.0.  Above 7.0 is alkaline, and below is acidic.  Optimally, you want to be a little on the alkaline side, with a blood pH of around 7.4.   Diseases cannot survive and flourish in an alkaline body, but it thrives in an acidic body.   Also be aware it takes 20 parts alkalinity to neutralize only 1 part acidity.  It’s important to eat as much raw food as possible because cooking your food makes it more acidic. You will get the max amount of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and oxygen when you consume whole raw food.

I have a machine which changes our water, called a Kangen machine.
Kangen Water is delicious water created from innovative water technology. Not only do these devices filter your tap water, but they also produce ionized alkaline and acidic waters through electrolysis. These waters can be used for various purposes, including drinking, cooking, beauty, and cleaning.
Other machines are available. I am not about selling a machine, although I know how you can get one, if you need. The same with the essential oils.
Now, many disclaim the benefits, but I am here to tell you my story.
My children swear by it! It clears up teenage acne. Yay, Mama is a hero. My middle son comes by the house just to fill his water bottle. I have had friends do the same. I have gone without it and immediately I feel different, not always realizing why, but then remembering ..and quickly grab some.

Now, in the gym, I might run out of my Kangen, so, I drink their purified water. I must say, I like it because it goes right through me. That's not what a healthy body needs, but, well, I am not perfect. I need my body to use the water I drink.
Ok, enough about the water, but trust me when I say: It is a huge part of my recovery.

Oils or herbs? BOTH! We have replaced ALL western medicine in our home. Our teens swear by the oils.
Lavender for teen angst is a huge winner. Tea Tree for owies and the list goes on. I have 2 children with eczema, and severe allergies. We now have those at bay using essential oil mixtures. We also use it for bug repellent. I have 2 boys I can not keep away from the high grasses while fishing and hiking. No Off here just another one of mama's mixtures/concoctions. Perhaps I will blog all my little remedies, if there is enough interest.
Oils and water are a huge part of my recovery. I have gone from bedridden to running triathlons/Spartan AROO!

Lately , we thought we were losing the battle against my cirrhosis when the blasted Portal Hypertension went haywire. I was told, by many actually, that we couldn't change the blood results.

We were also told livers can regenerate, but mine is too encased with scarring. We are told many things.
Blood results were scary, but we tackled them head on. What is missing K? Then let's grab K. What about Iron? Ok, once we have a scar, we can't unscar it, but can we invigorate what is underneath it all? Research! Research herbs. I still do not take ONE western medicine pill. Not one! (Remember me saying I was on 20+?)
Just last week we got some absolutely fantastic blood work back. My doctor actually wrote that! It didn't start that way. Hell no!
My daily regime is what is saving my hiney.

Ok, I am a Christian and I believe it is a true miracle. I would love to get into Vanderbilt (like I was at Stanford,) and find out how these herbs are doing this. What a breakthrough. My dear, dear  friend,  Doctor Rosette, in CA always said that so many herbs were used in other countries but western medicine just wouldn't even look at the amazing results.  He started me on some herbs 4 years ago. To the chagrin of my specialists at Stanford. My liver specialist truly poopooed them. I used them anyway. Then when we came to TN I started new regimes because blood work was not looking too good. First off, I wasn't eating enough. That is never a good thing. Then I found some folk here that helped me greatly in deciphering what herbs might help. There was little experimentation. We nailed it though, as my latest results show. I have very serious illnesses and zero consequences (at this time,) from them. An anomaly they say, a miracle we say, one that can hopefully be used to help others.

Vanderbilt is being a pain. My insurance is so good that I can not self pay, and they are out of network for us. (My husband still works in CA, so Stanford is our goto...) We are jumping through those hoops right now. More about that as it unfolds, but right now, here is the list of my friends.

My daily herbs. I chew them so my stomach can absorb them. I look like I have dirt in my teeth when I am done, nothing a little brushing doesn't help. I only use organic, no fillers, hardly any rice (a little allergic) as much 100% of the herb per capsule. (Same with oils, only organic seed to bottle.)
I save 10's of thousands of dollars, even though the herbs seem to add up sometimes!
